(1) Our popular summer camp programs utilize the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium as a living classroom and are dedicated to fostering reverence, respect and appreciation for the irreplaceable beauty and value of all life on our planet. Space is limited, but we will guarantee space for the child and provide one week of free Zoo camp that may be used by your child or grandchild. Or a scholarship for one child may be donated, in your name, to fund Zoo camp a child.
(2) Choose from a variety of wildly unique indoor and outdoor facilities for your daytime or after-hour event, pending availability. Most facilities are rented in four-hour increments. Rides, animal visits, and guided tours can be arranged for an additional charge. Catering is not included. There is an extra charge when table, chair, china, and linen rentals are required.
(3)Up to 50 free tickets to the Zoo will be donated, in your name, to an underserved area school or a charity of your choice. Every school or charity that receives free passes through your generosity will be advised of your contribution and requested to acknowledge your support of their Zoo trip.
(4) The Zoo can visit a school of your choice in one of our Zoomobiles full of exciting live animals and biofacts for an interactive presentation. Programs can be conducted in classroom settings for preschool and after-school or assembly programs for grades K-12. Or you can bring your child's class to the Zoo. Available any day September 3 to April 16, pending availability.
(5) A Zoo Birthday party creates a wild and memorable occasion for all. Parties for up to 15 people (any combination of children and adults) are available for children ages two to 10 and include Zoo admission, parking, beverages, lunch, a favor bag and safari hat for each child; a special gift for the birthday child, and Zoo-themed cake (with your choice of batter) and ice cream.
