Family Overnights

Ocean Exploration Overnight
(Ages 8-12)
Saturday, February 25 to Sunday, February 26, 2012
Study ocean habitats and the animals that call them home. We will examine the threats facing today's ocean habitats and come up with solutions to these problems. Participants will meet an aquarist that will provide them with a behind-the-scenes look at some of the PPG Aquarium's most famous residents.

Krazy Kritters Overnight
(Ages 6-9)
Saturday, March 24 to Sunday, March 25, 2012
A turtle’s shell, a sea lion’s whiskers, and your thumb have something in common: they are all types adaptations. Join us for an exciting evening to discover more unique types of adaptations and how animals use them to survive.

ZSI: Zoo Scene Investigation Overnight
(Ages 8-12)
Saturday, April 28 to Sunday, April 29, 2012
Participants will examine the scene of the crime as they work together to solve a Zoo mystery. We will break out the magnifying glasses, follow footprints, and interview a couple of key suspects in this zany and fun search for the truth.

These Overnights are designed specifically for families to participate in the Zoo's Overnight program. If you are a part of a Youth, School, or Scout group, please use the Group Overnight link to register.

Please note age requirements for each class. Only those of appropriate age will be admitted. Please bring only the child registered for the class, no older or younger siblings or infants. Your cooperation will ensure an enjoyable program for all.
