Teacher Workshops

Teacher workshops at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium are designed to foster knowledge, appreciation, and awareness of our natural world and to empower educators with innovative and exciting strategies to teach about animals and the conservation of their fragile habitats. Our workshops utilize a multidisciplinary approach that teachers will find easy to incorporate into their curricula. Zoo tours, biofacts, live animal visits, and make-and-take art projects will guarantee an enriching learning experience. The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is a Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48 Approved Provider.
