Zoo Camp Ages 12-13 Full-Day
Photos for Conservation
Explore conservation issues facing some of the world's most endangered animals while experiencing the excitement of capturing a once-in-a-lifetime photograph. Using their creativity will not only get the students closer than ever to their favorite Zoo animals, but also will allow them to actively participate in conservation efforts necessary for the survival of these species. Each camper will take home a CD containing their photographs at the end of the week. Students are encouraged to bring their own digital camera (three mega-pixels or higher). For this program, "Base Camp" will be the Water's Edge Classroom overlooking the polar bear exhibit.
