The Zoo U. program offers semester-based courses that allow high school students to explore new areas of science and conservation in a fun and exciting way. Classes are designed to be hands-on and challenging for students in grades 9 to 12. Spring 2014 courses are full. Summer classes will be announced in May.
KidScience is a year-long program designed to introduce middle school students to methods and principles related to conservation biology. Most students start the program in the 6 or 7 grade and return the following year. We are currently accepting applications for the 2014-2015 school year.
Zoo Teens summer volunteer program is available for students ages 14-17. It's a great way to learn more about animals and zoo careers. Please note: all positions for Summer 2014 have been filled.

Project Polar Bear is an international teen challenge sponsored by Polar Bears International as part of the Year of the Polar Bear. Project Polar Bear is a chance for small groups of teens to make a difference for polar bears by reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and slowing the warming of the Arctic.
