DQ's Big Chill
It might be hot outside, but things at the Zoo are cool as can be! Try and make it through our obstacle course of sprinklers without getting soaked, watch ice carvers create animal inspired creations, and compete in our light as a feather ice cube stacking contest. See how the animals stay cool while they frolic in pools, snack on frozen treats, and open some early holiday presents.

Summer Safari
Come. Be Wowed! at the wildest party of the summer: Summer Safari 2009. Stroll the Zoo while enjoying delicious food and drinks from Pittsburgh's finest restaurants and live entertainment at each stop. Must be 21 or older to attend.
The Zoo will close at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31 so staff can prepare for the event.
