Partners In Conservation: A true partnership to save mountain gorillas and support the people of Rwanda

Please join us for a special presentation by Jeff Ramsey, co-founder of Partners In Conservation (PIC), based at the Columbus Zoo. PIC’s central mission is to conserve the vanishing mountain gorillas and their wild spaces through respectfully assisting local people. The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is one of over 20 zoo partners of PIC. You will hear about Jeff and the Columbus Zoo’s amazing conservation commitment in Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo for over 25 years. During the presentation you will learn about the animals, culture, landscape, and people living in this part of the world. Jeff will highlight successful small scale projects that have long-term positive impacts for conservation and the local communities in Rwanda.

You will be able to purchase items made from the artisans of Rwanda and the DRC.

All proceeds will go to Partners In Conservation.

Light refreshments will be served.
