Meet Our Animals

Discover Our Animals

Our Zoo has hundreds of species of animals and plants waiting to be discovered by visitors.

Amphibians are cold-blooded and have bones. They start life having gills and living in the water and as they mature, they develop lungs and transition to living on the land. There are around 7,000 species of amphibians on our planet, and 90 percent of them are frogs! In addition to frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts are other amphibians.

Plan your next visit to the Zoo to see our amphibians in person.
