Animal Instincts | Valentine’s Dinner


Join us under the sea at Water’s Edge for dinner, cocktails, and a humorous, adults-only presentation revealing the intimate secrets of exotic animal mating by Zoo Curator, Henry Kacprzyk. Learn how the animals of land, sea, and air find love in the wild!

Along with Henry’s presentation, the night includes small animal visits, hors d’oeuvres, a served dinner, dessert, and a cash bar.

Hors d’oeuvres:
Ruby grapes in goat cheese and spiced pecans
House made porcini beef wellingtons with a sun dried tomato aioli
Cajun shrimp toast with a meyer lemon dill sauce

Belgium endive, frisee, and baby arugula salad with smoked almonds, maytag blue cheese, pomegranate seeds, blueberries, a Seville orange and a ginger dressing.

Artichoke and sundried tomato crusted breast of chicken and slow roasted beef sirloin with a roasted shallot demi glace and saffron cream.

*Vegetarian option: Portobello mushroom stack with mushroom ravioli and roasted vegetables with a basil Provençal sauce

Artisan Rolls and Butter
Roasted rosemary and garlic potatoes
Asparagus and charred peppers

Strawberry shortcake trifle served with a white chocolate vanilla brandy hot cocoa
