Clouded Leopards Move to Oklahoma to Make Room for New Cubs!

The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is saying goodbye to its two clouded leopards, Rukai and JD, and making room for another litter of cubs!

Rukai and JD are moving to their new home at the Oklahoma City Zoo where they will continue to develop their strong bond and hopefully raise cubs of their own.

Meanwhile, five-year-old clouded leopard Saya is expecting another litter of cubs later this year.
Saya was a very attentive mom to Rukai, but when the little cub failed to nurse, keepers had to step in to hand raise the cub. Keepers are hopeful that Saya will be able to raise the new cubs on her own.

Clouded leopards are currently listed as endangered with less than 10,000 left in the wild.
