Summer Safari: in black & white
Summer Safari, one of the region’s most anticipated annual 21+ events, will kick off the summer season!
To culminate our 125th anniversary, celebrate the past, present, and future of the Pittsburgh Zoo at the social event of the summer season! Make like a zebra and sport your best basic black and white and get ready for an evening of food, drinks, music, and animals! Guests must be age 21 or older.
The fun begins even earlier for VIP guests and our new Penguin Premier Pass, featuring exclusive drinks, food, and entertainment!
What does each tier receive?
General Admission: Complimentary glass, unlimited food and drink, animal encounters, live music, photo booth access.
VIP Guests: All of the above, VIP drink line, access to VIP party, and exclusive location of Garden Tent
Penguin Premier Guests: All of the above, special cup lanyard, early access to each location, private chef paired with a wine tasting, and a giraffe encounter.

- Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. A summer Safari ticket and a valid photo ID are required to enter Summer Safari.
- Summer Safari is a rain or shine event. Tickets will not be refunded due to inclement weather.
- Summer Safari is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We consider the purchase of your ticket as a donation to the Zoo. As such, we do not offer refunds and truly appreciate your generous donation.
