We are thrilled to welcome Charles Bergman, an award winning author and photographer who went on an amazing adventure to see and photograph all 18 species of penguins!
This inspirational talk combines stories and incredible images to capture the plight of penguins around the world. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself planning a trip to see penguins in the wild after this thrilling presentation.
One lucky participant will be chosen to receive a copy of Charles’ new book.
After the presentation, the Zoo will make a donation to a penguin conservation organization of Charles’ choice.

About the speaker: Charles Bergman has written extensively on wildlife in national magazines, including National Geographic, Audubon and Smithsonian. He is the author of five books including his most recent one; Every Penguin in the World: A Quest To See Them All. He has taught study tours in Antarctica six times. His quest of see all 18 species of penguins took him and his wife to some of the most remote islands in the world
