Jack O Lantern Extravaganza 2025 Vendor Village Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium’s Jack O’ Lantern Extravaganza (JOLE)
2025! We are excited to invite local craftspeople and artists to join us in creating a vibrant Vendor Village at the Zoo’s Entry
Plaza. This special area will offer our guests a unique shopping experience featuring a variety of handmade goods,
artwork, and local crafts, enhancing their visit to this annual community event.

The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium is committed to supporting local artisans by providing access to a captured audience,
with an average of 1,000 attendees per night and over 4,000 visitors on peak nights. This is a wonderful opportunity to
showcase your products to a large and engaged crowd in a family-friendly setting.

We offer three different vendor options, designed to meet varying needs based on fee structure, operational dates, and
projected peak attendance nights. Whether you prefer to participate throughout the entire event or focus on high-traffic
weekends, we have a package tailored to help you maximize your reach. (Packages listed below) We are anticipating
having 8 to 10 vendors a night throughout the 27-day run of the event.

Our Package Offerings for Interested Vendors:

Early Bird for a fee of $1,250 – 10 Operating nights (October 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th)- Required
Operating hours from 5:30 p.m. to 10/11 :00 p.m.

Peak for a fee of $2,000- 17 Operating nights (October 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th,
28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, Nov 1st, 2nd) – Required operating hours from 5:30 p.m. to 10/11:00 p.m.

Entire Run for a fee of $2,500 – 27 Operating nights – Required operating hours from 5:30 p.m. to 10/11 :00 p.m.
*ALL vendors, regardless of package option, are required to operate 80% of the days in their selected offer*

 

Please fill out this application for consideration as a vendor at one of our stalls, you will be notified about the status of
your application as soon as possible. If we do not meet a minimum number of operating vendors, then we will not be
able to offer this opportunity. Vendor Stall Fee would be due at time of application acceptance. Additional information,
such as load in/set up dates and times, will be provided at a later time in coordination with other Zoo departments. The
Zoo will provide a tent, table, and chairs as well as power needs at the request of the vendor

    Note: Vendors are NOT allowed to sell items that may conflict with our contract with SSA. This includes food for immediate consumption or non-food items that directly compete with SSA gift shop items.
