Zoo U. | Marine Biology


For students in grades 9-12

The ocean is a vast and fascinating ecosystem. In this course, students will explore the creatures and zones that make up the world’s oceans. We will also examine current marine conservation issues and what humans can do to protect the fragile aquatic environment. With the PPG Aquarium as a focal point for this course, you will also learn about the challenges involved in exhibiting everything from coral to penguins.


The Zoo U. program offers semester-based courses that allow high school students to explore new areas of science and conservation in a fun and engaging way. Sold Out!
