ZooBrew: Oktoberfest is Canceled

We regret to inform you that the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium has decided to cancel ZooBrew: Oktoberfest. This was a difficult decision, and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

A number of factors have led us to determine the Zoo would not be able to host this fall’s ZooBrew. A combination of supply chain issues and business obstacles have played a role in the decision to cancel. ZooBrew: Oktoberfest also landed amid a busy schedule throughout the city. We have listened to your feedback that Thursday, September 1 is a challenging date for the event.

Due to our Asian Lantern Festival running long weekends through October, we will be unable to reschedule ZooBrew in 2022.

Full refunds will begin processing automatically today for guests who have already purchased tickets. A Zoo representative will reach out to individual guests should additional information be required to process a refund.

We remain committed to hosting exciting activities that allow guests to enjoy time with family and friends while supporting your wild neighbors at the Zoo. Should you still wish to aid the Zoo at this time, you may explore donation options or consider other events like the Asian Lantern Festival or the upcoming Sip & Swirl in November. Party animals should also stay tuned: we are planning for the return of another ZooBrew in 2023.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the Zoo again soon!
