Enjoy a socially distant Zoo learning experience from the comfort of your home!

Join us while we ZOOM age-appropriate and fun, interactive programs that focus on Zoo animals and their environments. Classes vary in length by age group and last between 30 and 60 minutes. Class sizes are limited to ensure that each class offers a more personalized experience.

Super Senses

Discover how different animals use their senses to help them survive, while comparing their own senses to those of some animal visitors. We’ll test our senses with a Senses Scavenger Hunt!

Zoofari

Take a trip around the world from the comfort of your home! We will learn about the steamy rainforest, the searing African savanna, the cold Arctic, and the beautiful North American forests. We can’t wait to journey with you!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What equipment will I need for the Zoom sessions?
Requirements for live Zoom sessions: Must have access to an electronic device (phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer) with access to the internet, speakers or headphones, a microphone and a front-facing camera to participate in Zoom meetings with other campers and camp staff.

2. What security policies will the Zoo have in place for these camps?
The Zoo will be using the Zoom platform for all of our virtual summer camps. Each camper will be checked into the camp by a parent. After clicking on the link for that day’s camp (which is sent to you shortly after registration) you will enter a virtual waiting room. We will let one camper in at a time, so only registered participants will be allowed in. We have one staff person dedicated to the Zoom experience, who will be monitoring chat, microphones, and cameras.

3. How do I register?
Registration is online only. Any registration questions, please call 412-365-2528.

4. What is the refund/cancellation policy?
There are no refunds for these programs should you register and choose not to participate. The Zoo reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment or any unforeseeable circumstance. A refund will be issued in these cases only, and you will be given as much notice as possible.

Members should sign in with their email address and password in the upper right corner of the quantity page (after you click the registration button) to receive the Member discount in their cart.
