1. Purchase either a single day or flex ticket for Zoo Lights Drive-Thru at https://www.pittsburghzoo.org/event/zoo-lights/ – or –
2. complete the form at https://www.pittsburghzoo.org/contesting

Submissions for the contest will be accepted beginning at 12:01 a.m. EST on September 1, 2026, and will end at 11:59 p.m. EST on November 26, 2026. All advanced online Zoo Lights ticket purchasers September 1-November 26, 2026 entered automatically. To opt out, please contact [email protected]. No purchase necessary. Neither purchase nor multiple purchases or entries will increase chances of winning.

SELECTION OF WINNERS: The Prize Winner (the “Winner”) will be selected random. All unique entrant email addresses will be numbered and matched to a number generated by a random number generator. Winner will be determined by Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium (the “Sponsor”), whose decisions concerning all matters related to the Contest shall be final. Limit one Prize. Random prize winner will be drawn on Friday, November 27, 2026.

PRIZES: Prize (the “Prize”) shall be a certificate for the redemption of one Family Membership as defined on https://www.pittsburghzoo.org/membership/ Sponsor is responsible only for Prize delivery; and is not responsible for Prize utility, quality, or otherwise. Not redeemable for cash value. Membership certificate will include redemption requirements and expiration. Terms will apply as listed on the certificate.

ELIGIBILITY: The “Contest” will consist of a random drawing open to all adults aged 18 and older with the exception of employees and family members of the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium.

VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: The Winner will be notified by email. Winner does not need to be present to win. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if winner does not respond to the email within 3 days. Prize may also be awarded to an alternate winner if initial winner is younger than 18 years of age. Winner agrees to use of his or her name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to a minor to be subject to prior approval of his or her parent or legal guardian.

GENERAL: This Contest is void in all areas where prohibited or restricted by law. Entry materials that are incomplete or illegible may be deemed void and not accepted. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted at pittsburghzoo.org. By participating in the Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, warrants that he or she is eligible to participate in the Contest and agrees that no claim relating to damages, losses or injuries shall be asserted against the Sponsor, its officers, directors, agents or employees. By accepting a Prize, Winner agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers and agents from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of the Prizes or participation in any Prize related activities.
