In-Season General Admission
In-Season rates are valid April 1 through October 31. Admission price covers both Zoo and Aquarium.
Off-Season General Admission
Off-season rates are valid November 1 through March 31.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the front gates.
All active duty, reservists, and veterans of the United States military receive free general admission with proper identification (i.e. military ID, DD-214). Does not apply to family members or dependents. Proudly sponsored by GEICO Military.

In-Season Hours
In-Season runs April 1 through October 31.
*Early Entry Perk: Zoo Members can enter the Zoo at 9 a.m. all season long.
Off-Season Hours
Off-Season runs November 1 through March 31.
Indoor exhibits, the Tropical Forest Complex, the PPG Aquarium, and Kids Kingdom close 15-30 minutes prior to the Zoo closing.
Modified Operations
Animals Off Exhibit
- Polar bear has access to move on or off exhibit.
- Chickens and owls will be off exhibit for the near future. Flamingos can be seen in their indoor habitat. Learn More
Closures
- Working Wild classroom is temporarily closed.
- The UPMC Tram, Zip Line, and Log Ride are not operating at this time.
The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is a living park with live animals. Animals may be off exhibit at any time due to weather conditions, medical needs, etc.

7370 Baker Street

We are located in Highland Park in Pittsburgh. The main entrance, known as the Butler Street entrance, is just off of Butler Street after a quick turn on Baker Street.
Construction on nearby Route 28 and the Highland Park Bridge may cause travel delays.
Free parking is available in the main parking lot at the Butler Street entrance. Although the Zoo’s mailing address is One Wild Place, use 7370 Baker Street to get to the main parking lot.
