MEET THE ANIMALS

For Teachers

Teacher workshops at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium are designed to empower educators with innovative and exciting strategies to teach about animals and the conservation of their fragile habitats. Our workshops utilize a multidisciplinary approach that teachers will find easy to incorporate into their curricula. Zoo tours, bio-facts, live animal visits, and make-and-take art projects will guarantee an enriching learning experience. Please visit our School Groups page and scroll down to the Teacher Workshop tab for current opportunities.

For customized teacher workshops, contact Margie Marks at 412-365-2520.

From toddlers to college students, field trips to outreach visits, family programs to teacher workshops, there is a class or program for everyone. Learn about the animals in our natural world through engaging learning opportunities.
