Village Market, conveniently located at the top of the escalators near the Zoo entrance, offers a variety of food, beverages, and snacks.
Food items include several pizzas and salads, tater tots with or without toppings, PB&J, turkey wrap, and ice cream with or without toppings. Beverages include Icees, fountain drinks, beers and seltzers. Village Market offers an option to support guests on vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free diets.

Offering a range of drinks, light snacks, and small novelties, Savanna Stop will keep you moving on your trek onward to ostriches, nyala, and elephants. Open seasonally and weather dependent.

The African-themed Jambo Grill is located at the mid-point of the Zoo, making it a great place to take a break during your safari. Jambo Grill offers a fresh, made-to-order menu. Village Market offers an option to support guests on vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free diets.

Swahili Ice Cream is a great stop to pick up a cool treat on a hot day. Open seasonally.

Pittsburgh Zoo history fans recall when bears used to reside in the area that is now The Beer Den. 21+ guests can stop here to reminisce and enjoy an adult beverage, and guests of all ages can grab a snack. Open seasonally and weather dependent.

Located outside of the lower level of the Aquarium, Arctic Express offers quick, on-the-go snacks. Open seasonally and weather dependent.

Among the most popular offerings at the Zoo, this kiosk offering the ice cream of the future reigns supreme near the Water’s Edge Pavilion. Open seasonally and weather dependent.
Located across from the sheep and goat yard and in front of the Animal Motions Playgrounds, Hops offers a quick pick-me-up on adventures through Kids Kingdom. Open seasonally.

The first building guests see when exiting our iconic escalator, Village Outfitters is one of two gift shops located in The Village. This open-air shop features a wide selection of children’s toys, plush animals, T-shirts and more. This shop is for the young and young at heart. It is a favorite shop for school groups and young families.
