Contributing Membership: $299
Contributing Membership includes two named adults and up to six children under age 18; plus, 20 guest admissions.
Family Plus Membership: $249
Family Plus Membership includes two named adults and up to six children under age 18; plus, 10 guest admissions.
Family Membership: $199
Family Membership includes two named adults and up to six children under age 18.
Grandparents Membership: $199
Grandparent Membership includes two named adults and up to six grandchildren under age 18.
Couple Membership: $129
Couple Membership includes two named individuals.
Individual Membership: $99
Individual Membership includes one named adult.

Cards & Passes
Your digital membership card will be sent to you within 24 hours of activating your membership. If this is a renewal, your digital card will automatically update in the wallet app on your phone. If you opted for printed cards, please allow a few weeks for them to arrive by mail. To access your digital card at any time, simply create an account or log in here to view your member profile.
Each membership may include up to two listed adults. Only the adults listed on the membership are permitted to use it, and a valid ID is required for both individuals. All Memberships are non-transferable.
Members receive discounts on most Zoo programs, though some are not eligible for discount. Individual programs clearly indicate Member discount availability before purchase.
Please note that only Membership levels that can include children are valid for discounts on child-focused programming. This excludes the Individual Membership level.
10% discount in Zoo stores applies to most items, though certain items are excluded. Items already on sale, food, and wagon and stroller rentals are not eligible for discount. Please check in store to verify any additional item exclusions.
Yes, you can give a membership to someone else by clicking here or by visiting the membership page on the website and selecting the gift a membership button. This mails a physical gift certificate to whatever address you indicate in the pop-up box. This membership does not begin until the recipient fills out the certificate and bring it to the front gates on their first visit.

Entering the Zoo
If you are a Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium Member, you must present either your physical membership card or your digital membership card and both adults’ photo IDs for entry.
To access your digital card:
- Create an account or log in here.
- Once logged in, you can view and download your digital membership card to your smartphone or device for easy access at the admissions window.
If you prefer a physical card and do not want to use the digital version, you can request a printed card pack (2 cards) for $5. To order, please call the Membership Department at 412-365-2585.
Yes, Memberships can be purchased at the front entrance and will include your admission for that day.
No, memberships only cover the 2 listed adults and listed children. Group rates are available for 15 or more people depending on your group type. Schools, daycares, scouts, and educational institutions can receive a special school discount on request; other group types can automatically receive a discount with our online ticketing system. Each membership may include up to two listed adults. Only the adults listed on the membership are permitted to use it. If the individual providing care is listed, they may use the membership for themselves and the children. Otherwise, they can use a guest admission on your Family Plus or Contributing Membership level or pay regular daytime admission to cover their entry, and the children would be covered under the membership.
All Memberships are non-transferable. Only the names listed on the card are admitted and photo ID is required. If you purchased a Membership with guest passes, you may use an available pass for an adult not on the Membership.
Renewing Your Membership
Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of redemption.
Memberships automatically renew from the current expiration date. If your Membership has lapsed, the new expiration date will be one year from the new purchase date.
