African elephants have the largest ears in the animal kingdom. In honor of this phenomenal feature, we present a treat for your ears – a sound celebration featuring NYC indie folk pop musician Taylor Bradshaw. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and sit back and enjoy a relaxing outdoor autumn evening. Jackie’s Groovy Cheese Truck will be onsite to satisfy your snacking needs and the ICC shop will be open with a variety of unique elephant treasures for purchase.
This special evening event at the International Conservation Center supports research into elephant endotheliotropic herpesvirus (EEHV), a virulent disease that threatens elephant populations worldwide. This donation also honors Tsuni, our beloved elephant calf, who passed away in February from EEHV.
Information will be available to learn more about EEHV and how you can help. Proceeds benefit the EEHV research lab at Baylor College of Medicine.
Event is rain or shine. No outside food or drink permitted. No smoking or vaping allowed.
Can’t make it to the concert? You can still support EEHV research by choosing to make a donation online.
