Join us on International Red Panda Day on Saturday, September 19, to celebrate some of our Zoo’s most captivating creatures!

Red Pandas need our help. These endangered bamboo specialists have suffered a 50% population decline in the past 20 years. By supporting the Pittsburgh Zoo, you’re supporting our collaboration with Red Panda Network and AZA’s SAFE Red Panda program to increase habitat connectivity and expand conservation efforts in the mountains where red pandas live.

Touch, feel, and explore biofacts with our docents at the red panda habitat in Forest Passage; plus, other fun and educational activities.

All ages welcome!
