Migratory Bird Day

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium! You can find songbirds everywhere, from bustling cities to smaller towns and communities. Learn how we can protect our North American songbirds for future generations and participate in fun activities. All ages welcome!

Activities:

  • Bird friendly coffee tasting and coffee painting craft for kids in Kids Kingdom
  • Zoo & PA Master Naturalist touch tables at Kids Kingdom
  • 10:30 a.m. – Penguin feeding in the Aquarium
  • 12 p.m. Noon – Story time at Safari Amphitheater. Featured story: Birds Have a Lot to Say by Elizabeth Pagel-Hogan
  • 2 p.m. – Bald Eagle Feeding & Meet the Keeper
