RADical DAY – fully booked


Visit your wild neighbors for free! The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is delighted to offer free daytime admission for RADical Day on October 2, 2022.  So that all guests can have a safe and pleasant experience, the Zoo is introducing required timed entry reservations for this special day.  All general admission guests and Members will be required to reserve a time slot to gain Zoo entry on October 2.

RADical Day includes a performance from the River City Brass Quintet, an all-brass ensemble, at PNC Pavilion from noon to 1 p.m.

Reservations are FREE. Guests will need to select a 30-minute window for their arrival at the Zoo through the link below. Once in the park, guests can stay as long as preferred. Guests without reservations will not be able to enter the Zoo due to capacity limits. 

There are no more reservations available for RADical Day. 

Guests will need to show their reservation email in order to enter the Zoo on October 2nd.


RADical Day is presented by the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD).

Guests who do not have a reservation will not be able to enter the Zoo.



  • When guests arrive on October 2nd, they will be required to present the Eventbrite reservation on their phone or printed ticket. Guests who do not show a reservation will not be able to enter the Zoo on October 2nd.
  • Reservations are limited and expected to book quickly.
  • RADical Day free daytime entry does not apply to the Asian Lantern Festival on the night of October 2. Asian Lantern Festival tickets can be purchased here. 
  • Parties of more than 8 guests may make more than one reservation.
  • Guests should arrive at the Zoo during the 30-minute window of their ticket. Guests may stay at the Zoo as long as preferred.
