Donation day

Support your fellow Southwestern Pennsylvanians and enjoy free Zoo admission during this special day of gratitude!

In cooperation with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank , we are inviting guests to join in Donation Day on Wednesday, December 27. All guests receive free entry, and we request the donation of non-perishable items, such as dry and canned goods, to support neighbors facing food insecurity this winter.

Donation items will be collected in the Zoo parking lot through daytime operating hours on the 27th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For an item to qualify, it must be non-perishable, shelf stable, and has not reached its expiration date. Please see a full list of the Food Bank’s most-needed items below.
