Pittsburgh Zoo Camp

Zoo Camp

Welcome to 2017 Animal Adventures Summer Zoo Camp! We have many exciting things planned for this summer. Program themes are designed to be fun, engaging, and age-appropriate for each group.

Zoo Camp Programs

Introduce your child to a world of wildlife and wonder through exciting Zoo Camp programs designed just for toddlers. Young campers will meet animals and make wildlife-themed crafts while they learn about nature through songs and stories. Class fees include one child, one accompanying adult, and Zoo general admission for both. Please note the age requirements for each class as only registered children of the appropriate age will be admitted. We ask that you do not bring younger children or infants to Cub Club or Zoo Tot programs and only register for one session of each topic.

ZOO TV

Lights, camera, action! You and your fellow campers will work in groups to write, direct, and star in your own "Commercial for Conservation." Throughout the week, we'll discuss current conservation topics, investigate the problems facing endangered species, and brainstorm possible solutions to environmental issues. Each day's activities will be inspired by popular TV shows, and our week will culminate with a commercial premiere party for family and friends.
