There is no better place to learn about a wild career working with animals than above our animal hospital. Features of the Working Wild exhibit include interactive games that teach you about animals, exciting displays about careers with animals, and a peek into the life of the Zoo staff.
The PPG Aquarium features an array of aquatic species from every watery habitat on Earth, including cephalopods (octopus, squid, cuttlefish), coral, fish, penguins, sea horses, sharks, stingrays, turtles, and many species of plants in a rain forest setting.
The Islands transports you to a tropical oasis where you can encounter and learn about some of the world’s most endangered species. This area of the Zoo includes clouded leopards, Galápagos tortoises, Philippine crocodiles, siamangs, and Visayan warty pigs.
In this area of the Zoo, see and learn about animals, mostly primates, from tropical rain forests across the globe, including black and white colobus monkeys, black howler monkeys, black and white ruffed lemurs, blue monkeys, Bornean orangutans, capuchin monkeys, cotton-top tamarins, Hoffman's two-toed sloth, poison dart frogs, ring-tailed lemurs, western lowland gorillas, white-cheeked gibbons, and white-faced saki monkeys.
