SOS: Save Our Species!
At the Pittsburgh Zoo, caring for endangered species is part of what we do every day, and we are honored to play such an active role in both local and global conservation. This semester, our students will delve into a topic that is more complex than most people realize: the crisis of Endangered Species. Not only will we discuss particular species that are at risk, we will also look at the reasons why so many animals are in danger of extinction. More importantly, we will learn how scientists and average citizens alike can help save endangered species. Step one? Keep learning!
This class is four sessions that take place on Saturdays.
