The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is delighted to offer free daytime admission for RADical Day on October 2, 2022, in partnership with the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD). Guests must reserve a free timed-entry ticket on pittsburghzoo.org to attend.

Online ticket reservation is easy: starting today, guests can visit pittsburghzoo.org/rad to select a desired 30-minute daytime window to arrive at the Zoo on October 2. A ticket reservation will be emailed to the guest. When arriving at the Zoo during the selected time on RADical Day, guests present the reservation tickets to receive free admission and can stay at the Zoo as long as they like, or until Zoo close at 5:30 p.m.

“We are excited to bring RADical Day back to the Zoo and welcome guests throughout the region,” said Pittsburgh Zoo President & CEO Dr. Jeremy Goodman.  “We know that free days at the Zoo can cause congestion in the Highland Park community as well as in the Zoo itself, so we are introducing timed ticketing to attempt to alleviate some of that traffic and allow people to better enjoy the Zoo.”

Thousands of free tickets are available for RADical Day, so high crowds are still expected, though the quantity of tickets is limited. Only RADical Day ticketed guests will be admitted on October 2. Once all tickets are reserved, no further daytime admissions will be available.

Reservations are expected to book quickly. Click here to reserve your spot.
